The workmanship in this drill is fantastic. Click for earlier photos and specs.

Here is the entire power sled. The engine is removable by loosening two bolts!
The output valve connects directly to the cooling system to ensure that the oil temperature stays within an acceptable range.

Two weeks to go and still in the works!

The dual pump coming off the engine is the heart of the power unit.
The valve was made of a single block of aluminum to exacting tolerances.
This Drill is Made to Get the Job Done!
A maze of connections provide clear paths for fluids. Capital Hydraulics has done a supurb job for us.

The cooling unit utilized an electric motor driven fan for reliable operation.
Wnenever a potential for problems exists, we find a way to avoid them. Here the hydraulic line to the cooling fan has to pass by the hot engine. We made it of pipe rather than hose - avoiding heat degradation.
